Today we’d like to introduce you to Cherelle Marshall.
Hi Cherelle; thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I have always been a seeker of ways to become better in every aspect of life. I began practicing yoga as a holistic way of dealing with stress and anxiety. Since starting my practice in 2016, I have been inspired by the changes I’ve experienced, both on and off the mat. These changes moved me to attend a yoga teacher training program and earn my 200-hour certification (YTT). Yoga has been such an enlightening journey for me. It has led me down a deeper spiritual path, inspiring me to become a certified meditation teacher, Reiki practitioner, inner child healing practitioner, and spiritual life coach. My practice has introduced me to the inner parts of Self that were suppressed by the outward beliefs and teachings that I had to look elsewhere to find what I was seeking. I’ve learned that true peace comes from within and that everything that I need I already possess. I desire to help others build upon the strength within to live a happy, healthy and holistic life- full of purpose and self-love.
Alright, let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
This journey has been a challenge for sure. I’ve struggled with self-doubt, limiting beliefs while carrying the feeling of unworthiness. With the desire to want more for myself, I started to invest my time in reprogramming my subconscious mind by reading self-help books, quoting affirmations that aligned with my goals, and many mindfulness practices.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I am a Spiritual Life Coach, yoga teacher, owner of Expressions 4 U Yoga and creator of Yoga & Wellness Festival STL. I work with clients 1 on 1 to support them in meeting their personal wellness goals. I create holistic wellness plans and processes to improve mind, body, and soul, through different modalities such as yoga, meditation, breathwork, and journaling. I host wellness workshops and events. I am most proud of my willingness to learn, grow and evolve. This is coupled with the enjoyment of the journey. I want that for everyone that is connected to me.
What does success mean to you?
I define success as a point of completing a goal one has set out to accomplish on their journey.
